Amy began her career at a salon and spa in Newburyport, MA, where she received advanced training in hair coloring and cutting from the salon owner, a master colorist and Matrix platform artist. She later became a Matrix color educator, which allowed her to collaborate with leading stylists in the industry at various trade shows. After relocating to Portsmouth, she opened her first salon in 2002 and most recently launched Redhead Studio (formerly Samba Salon) in March 2016.

As a salon owner and wedding hair artist in Portsmouth, Amy is committed to building a collaborative team of highly skilled and creative stylists while creating a welcoming and enjoyable environment for clients. She continues to expand her expertise by staying up to date with the latest trends and techniques in hair color and design. With years of training and experience, she has developed strong expertise in color application and color correction.
